PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a resin dispersion comprising particles containing a polyphenylene ether resin, having excellent flow stability at room temperature; a resin composite having excellent adhesiveness of a resin and a substrate obtained by compounding a varnish containing the resin dispersion with the substrate; and a laminate having excellent heat resistance.SOLUTION: Provided is a resin dispersion comprising resin particles and a dispersion medium wherein the resin particles contain a polyphenylene ether resin, the dispersion medium contains an organic solvent in which solubility of the polyphenylene ether resin at 23°C is 5 mass% or more, 80 number% or more of 100 number% of the resin particles exist as aggregated particles, and 80 number% or more of 100 number% of the aggregated particles have a long diameter of 5 μm or more but 30 μm or less.
