PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool including a cutting liquid channel which has a simple structure, avoids cost increase, and does not impair the appearance of the machine tool.SOLUTION: A machine tool 1 includes a cover 10 that isolates the interior of the machine tool as processing space from the exterior. The machine tool 1 performs relative movement between a tool 9 mounted on a main shaft 8 and a workpiece 20 placed on a table 7 so as to process the workpiece 20. In order that chips 40 generated during the processing of the workpiece 20 is removed with a cutting liquid, the machine tool 1 includes cutting liquid supply channels 5 with upper parts thereof opened that are disposed in the processing space inside the cover 10. The cutting liquid supply channels 5 is are supply the cutting liquid to the workpiece 20 and the tool 9 during the processing, or to a predetermined location in the interior of the machine tool on which the chips 40 scattered by the processing accumulate. |
