PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and flexible operation environment even in the case where a number of objects are stored at the side of an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 12 communicates with an information processing device 14 according to a predetermined communication protocol. When the information processing device 14 is connected, a receiving section 890 receives from the information processing device 14 a first request signal including a request to acquire an identification information list of a plurality of objects stored in a storage section and an object extraction condition. A generation section 892 generates the identification information list of objects corresponding to the extraction condition among the plurality of objects stored in the storage section. A communication control section 894 performs control for transmitting the generated identification information list to the information processing device 14 and then performs control for successively transmitting attribute information of the objects corresponding to the extraction condition among the plurality of objects stored in the storage section, in response to a second request signal from the information processing device 14.
