PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a script file for introducing and setting a printer driver which supports a printer used by a user from an INF file and provide it to the user.SOLUTION: A printer driver introduction supporting system 10 for supporting introduction of a driver 15 for using a printer 21 includes: a driver 15; a configuration file 16 for introducing the driver 15; a template 17 parameterizing a part unique to the object printer 21 concerning a script describing a series of processing for introducing the driver 15 by using the configuration file 16; a printer information TB 14 retaining management information on the printer 21; a printer information management part 11 for acquiring management information corresponding to the specified printer 21 from the printer information TB 14; an introduction script generation part 12 for generating a script file by replacing the template 17 on the basis of the contents of the management information acquired. |
