PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which, even when there are multiple functions using an image processing engine, makes it possible to draw a dynamic image frame at high speed by selectively using a plurality of drawing modes depending on the condition of the image processing device on each particular occasion, and to thereby shorten a processing time till reproduction.SOLUTION: The image processing device is characterized by image reproduction means for reading out an image from a recording medium and reproducing the read image, first drawing means for drawing a dynamic image frame on the border of the image by using a CPU, second drawing means for drawing a dynamic image frame around the image by using an image processing engine, timeout time setting means for setting a timeout time according to the state of a camera, time passage determination means for detecting the passage of the timeout time, and drawing switching means for determining, when usage right acquisition determination means for use of an image processing engine block is available and a block of the image processing engine is kept waiting by the usage right acquisition determination means, whether to choose the first drawing means or choose the second drawing means to draw, on the basis of the timeout time setting means and the time passage determination means. |
