PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp terminal, and the like, having a tubular crimp portion capable of reducing contact resistance of the conductor of wire and the crimp terminal sufficiently while enhancing the yield.SOLUTION: A terminal for wire 100 includes a tubular crimp portion 30 having an insertion port for inserting a wire. The tubular crimp portion 30 has a thick wall part on the surface in contact with the wire. A recess 32 or a protrusion 33 is formed in the thick wall part on the surface in contact with the wire. The recess 32 or protrusion 33 functions as a serration for deforming the wire when it is crimped to the terminal for wire.
