PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification system capable of easily and surely detecting and notifying of an authorized use of a vehicle by a driver of the vehicle such as driving in a state in which a rider to be sent by the vehicle is not on board.SOLUTION: A notification system 1 stores odometer information and remaining fuel information at a time when a regular rider of a vehicle 2 gets out of it if a communication connection between a short-distance radio communication part 26 of the side of the vehicle 2 and a short-distance radio communication part 32 of a smart phone owned by the regular rider is cut. When the regular rider of the vehicle 2 gets on the vehicle again and a communication connection between the short-distance radio communication parts 26 and 32 is established, the system acquires odometer information and remaining fuel information at this time and calculates a differential value between these pieces of information and those stored. When the differential value is greater than a prescribed value, the notification system notifies the rider of information telling that the vehicle 2 was wrongfully used while the regular rider is not on board through a display part 33 of the smart phone 3. |
