PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head having sufficient fitting strength with a simple part constitution and in a small number of assembling steps, to which a nozzle cover is attached.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a channel unit 100 including a nozzle plate in which nozzles ejecting liquid are formed; a frame member 117 supporting the channel unit 100 and integrally fixing it; a nozzle cover 90 having flexibility and being contacted to and attached to the nozzle plate and the frame member 117. The nozzle cover 90 includes a side wall part 90c contacted to a pair of side surfaces including a long side of a circumference of the nozzle plate of the frame member 117. The side wall part 90c includes an engaging part 90a engaging a recessed groove 117a formed in a side surface of the rame member 117. The engaging part 90a is fitted to the frame member 117 by engaging the engaging part 90a to the recessed groove 117a. A surface of the recessed groove 117a to which the engaging part 90 is contacted has rough surface quality.
