<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program which can easily perform device control, such as removal of an erroneous operation lock, on a display having a touch panel function.SOLUTION: A detection unit 110 detects contact or approach of an object to an operation screen. A surface area calculation unit 120 calculates a surface area of a range in which the contact or approach is detected by the detection unit 110.
