PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility of damaging internal components and risks of entry of foreign objects in a tool access when assembling and replacing components of an electric power conversion apparatus.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion apparatus includes: a control circuit board for controlling a power semiconductor device which converts a direct current into an alternating current; a fuse for overcurrent protection of the direct current flowing into an auxiliary machine connected with the electric power conversion apparatus; a first housing which stores the control circuit board and the fuse and forms a first opening; a first cover which is fixed to the first housing and forms a second opening; and a second cover which closes the second opening. The first cover includes: a first region part that faces the control circuit board and covers a part of the first opening; and a second region part which forms the second opening. The control circuit board is disposed at a first space formed by the first region part of the first cover and the first housing. The fuse is disposed at a position facing the second opening.
