PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce lateral streak and longitudinal streak that arise when a subject with high color saturation is photographed.SOLUTION: An amount that the charges of each of pixels in a configuration common to the pixels leak into an adjacent pixel is detected. The degree of color mixture of each pixel in the configuration common to the pixels is detected. Whether color mixture connection is needed or not is determined from the detected degree of color mixture. Also, a determination is made whether the output value of each pixel in the configuration common to the pixels has reached a saturation level or not. A signal value in a pixel arrangement position that is an adjacent pixel of the pixel determined as saturation and that is determined that the color mixture correction is needed is replaced by a signal value calculated from the signal value of the adjacent filter pixel of the same color, determined that the color mixture correction is not needed. |
