PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus which improves cooling performance of a heating coil unit to achieve good usability.SOLUTION: An induction heating apparatus comprises compression coil springs 14 each arranged between a base 6 and each of a plurality of heating coil units 5, and cooling means 19. The compression coil spring 14 has a first end turn 15 which is sandwiched between an undersurface of the heating coil unit 5 and an attachment member 16 in a manner such that a wire surface of the first end turn contacts the undersurface of the heating coil unit 5 and the attachment member 16 in a surface contact manner and has a second end turn 17 installed on the base 6. The compression coil springs 14 push the heating coil unit 5 to a top plate 1 and act as radiation fins for radiating heat generated due to a loss of the heating coil unit 5 via the first end turns 15 of the compression coil springs 14. Since cooling air blown out from a duct 21 by the cooling means 19 cools the undersurface of the heating coil unit 5 and the compression coil springs 14, temperature rise of the heating coil unit 5 can be inhibited. |
