PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of suppressing an increase in temperature due to friction between a developing roller and a seal member, and leakage of toner, even when the developing roller has a small outer diameter.SOLUTION: A developing device includes: a developing roller 22 that is brought into contact with or the proximity of an image carrier forming a toner layer on the surface and having an electrostatic latent image formed thereon to attach a toner to the surface of the image carrier; a developing case 24 that rotatably supports the developing roller 22; and a seal member 31 that is brought into contact with a developing roller surface layer 22a at an end in a longitudinal direction of the developing roller. The developing device further includes one or more inlet ports 42 and one or more exhaust ports 43 provided on the developing case 24, and at least one or more roller members 41 that are provided on the circumference of the developing roller 22 where the developing roller 22 is in contact with the seal member 31 and are brought into contact with the developing roller 22 to rotate. |
