PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutically effective agent for amniotic fluid embolism.SOLUTION: This invention provides a therapeutic agent for amniotic fluid embolism comprising a C1-inhibitor as an active ingredient. It is preferable that the C1 inhibitor is a human C1-inhibitor, and further preferable that a C1 inhibitor is a human plasma-derived C1-inhibitor.
