PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce torsional rigidity while raising allowable transmission torque in a viewpoint of an assembling method of a flexible coupling.SOLUTION: A flexible coupling 10 is assembled between a propeller shaft 20 and an input shaft 31 so as to be interposed therebetween. The flexible coupling 10 comprises: a plurality of wire rod winding members 11 arranged on a circumference at equal intervals with a rotation axial line as a center; torque transmission wire rods 12 wound to the adjacent winding members 11 in the circumferential direction; and an annular elastic body 13 embedded with the wire rod winding members 11 and the torque transmission wire rods 12. The flexible coupling 10 is assembled by being compressed in the radial direction and fixed to the propeller shaft 20 and the input shaft 31 in a state that the wire rod winding members 11 are displaced to the inside of the radial direction. |
