PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which can reduce its power consumption.SOLUTION: A portable terminal comprises: a display; a display processing unit which performs display processing for displaying images on the display in such a manner that a user can scroll an image of a scroll target area which is at least a part of an image display area of the display; a calculation unit which performs calculation processing for calculating a scroll speed of the image of the scroll target area; and a brightness adjustment unit which, when the scroll speed calculated by the calculation unit corresponds to a second speed that is faster than a first speed, adjusts brightness of the images displayed on the display in order to make the images displayed on the display for the second speed become brighter than the images displayed on the display for the first speed. |
