PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for recovering a gas containing COand HS.SOLUTION: A system and a method for recovering a gas containing COand HS comprises: a first heat exchanger 16 which is interposed at a crossing part A of a rich solution supply line Lwith a lean solution supply line Land where an absorption liquid (rich solution 12A) absorbed with COand HS discharged from the bottom 13c of an absorption column 13 and a regeneration absorption liquid (lean solution 12B) are heat-exchanged; a second heat exchanger 17 which is interposed at a crossing part B of a semi-rich solution supply line Land a branch line Lbranched from the lean solution supply line at a branch part C and where a semi-rich solution 12C absorbed with COand HS discharged from the vicinity of the middle stage of the absorption column and the lean solution 12B are heat-exchanged; a merging part D where the branch line Lto supply the lean solution after heat-exchanging is merged into the lean solution supply line L; and a flow regulating valve 31 which is interposed to the lean solution supply line Land which regulates the distribution amount of the lean solution 12B.
