PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel acrylic emulsion having lower viscosity, no generation of reactivity or coarse grain products at polymerization, and obtained by emulsion polymerization of a glycerol carbonate acrylate compound with a (meth)acrylic monomer.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by an acrylic emulsion obtained by emulsion polymerization of a glycerol carbonate acrylate compound represented by the formula (1), where Ris a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, with a (meth)acrylic monomer. |
