PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidance point setting device for setting a point suitable for a guidance based on location information of a picked-up image and a method thereof.SOLUTION: The guidance point setting device includes an imaging information storage part (3) for storing metadata including imaging location information corresponding to picked-up image data. A metadata selection part (5) selects metadata having imaging locations adjacent to each other on the basis of the stored imaging location information, and a guidance point setting part (9) sets a guidance point on the basis of imaging location information of the metadata selected.
