PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can combine mud performance with low noise performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 includes a pair of middle land sections 6 partitioned by a shoulder main groove 3 and a center main groove 4 by providing in a tread section 2, a pair of shoulder main grooves 3, 3 and at least one center main groove 4 extending in a tire circumferential direction between the pair of shoulder main grooves 3, 3. The groove width W2 of the center main groove 4 is larger than the groove width W1 of the shoulder main groove 3. Each of the middle land sections 6, 6 includes an inside middle lug groove 21 extending from the center main groove 4 to a tire-axis-direction outside, and an outside middle lug groove 22 extending from the shoulder main groove 3 to a tire-axis-direction inside. The inside lug groove 21 and the outside middle lug groove 22 are intermittently disposed in the tire circumferential direction. In each of the middle land sections 6, 6 the total number of the inside middle lug grooves 21 is smaller than that of the outside middle lug groove 22. |
