<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a color gamut in printing as required while suppressing increase in a printing period of time in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an extension color table 32 that represents an extended color gamut that is extended from a standard color gamut based on a standard maximum toner amount of each of plural toner colors and obtained by changing a maximum toner amount of one or plural toner colors to an extended toner amount being larger than the standard maximum toner amount. If a color of an image to be printed is outside the standard color gamut and within the extended color gamut per the extension color table 32, a color conversion part 44 converts a color value of the image to be printed into a color value of the toner color on the basis of the extension color table 32. Then, a printer 11 prints an image on the basis of the color value of the toner color.</p> |
