PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which properly controls a motor in accordance with an outer diameter value of a drive roller even if a fixing apparatus is replaced.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a heating member H, a fixing apparatus 100 having a drive roller (pressure roller 140) configured to form a nip part N with the heating member H, a motor 500 for driving the drive roller, and a control device 510. The fixing apparatus 100 includes a memory 170 which stores an outer diameter value of the drive roller measured in advance. The control device 510 executes read processing which reads the outer diameter value from the memory 170, correction processing which corrects rotation speed of the motor 500 lower as the read outer diameter value is larger, and drive processing which rotates the motor 500 on the basis of the corrected rotation speed. |
