PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure device capable of performing optical writing of high quality.SOLUTION: A writing control part comprises: a pitch measurement part 401 which generates pitch data from an output signal of a TM sensor and an output signal of a home position sensor; an interval data generation part 402 which generates interval data for adjusting cycles of an LSYNC signal so that a pitch error is suppressed based upon the pitch data; an exposure timing signal generation part 403 which generates a LOAD signal, an STBa signal, an STBb signal, an STBc signal, an STBd signal, a CLK signal, and an LSYNC signal; an image data generation part 404 which outputs image data of one line, etc. In this case, unevenness in line pitch in a sub direction due to eccentricity characteristics of a photoreceptor drum is corrected to achieve precise multiple exposure at the same position with a last latent image during the multiple exposure. |
