PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drop prevention structure of an indoor unit panel of air conditioner for surely preventing a drop of the indoor unit panel when a hook member and an engaging pin are engaged with each other without spoiling working efficiency when removing the indoor unit panel.SOLUTION: A drop prevention structure of an indoor unit panel of air conditioner comprises: an indoor unit panel 14 arranged at an opening of a decorative panel 12 so as to be freely opened and closed; an engaging part 19 to cause one side end in a transverse direction of the indoor unit panel 14 to be removably engaged with an engaging pin 21 at a peripheral edge of the opening; a hook member 22 arranged at the other side end in the transverse direction of the indoor unit panel 14 to cause engagement with the engaging pin 21 to be released through action in a releasing direction accompanied with a removing action of the indoor unit panel 14 when the engagement of the engaging part 19 is released; a lock fitting 24 converted into a limiting position where an action of the hook member 22 in the releasing direction with respect to the engaging pin 21 and an allowing position where an action of the hook member 22 in the releasing direction with respect to the engaging pin 21; and a holding means 26 for always holding the lock fitting 24 at the limited position when an artificial operation is not carried out.
