PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-diffusing member in which good light-diffusing property can be obtained, and to provide a method for manufacturing a light-diffusing member, and a display device.SOLUTION: The light-diffusing member includes a base material having optical transparency, a plurality of wavelength control layers formed on one surface of the base material, and a light-diffusing part formed at an area other than an area where the wavelength control layers are formed on one surface of the base material. The light-diffusing part has a light-exiting end face in contact with the base material, and a light-entering end face opposing to the light-exiting end face and having a larger area than the area of the light-exiting end face; and the light-diffusing part is made of a photosensitive resin. The height from the light-entering end face to the light-exiting end face of the light-diffusing part is larger than a layer thickness of the wavelength control layer. The wavelength control layer has such a characteristic that a light absorption coefficient in a first wavelength in a UV light wavelength region is higher than a light absorption coefficient in a second wavelength in a visible light wavelength region.
