PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus that can securely execute zero point correction processing of a CO concentration sensor even when combustion of a combustion part continues for a long time.SOLUTION: A gas heating water heater 1 includes a heating burner 31 for generating hot water for heating and a CO concentration sensor 51 for detecting a carbon monoxide concentration in exhaust air, and is configured so that a control part 4 executes zero point correction processing of sensor output from the CO concentration sensor 51 at fixed timing. The control part 4 executes the zero point correction processing when combustion of the heating burner 31 is stopped after predetermined time (e.g., 48 hours) has passed since execution of previous zero point correction processing. Then combustion of the heating burner 31 is prohibited until the zero point correction processing is completed, so as to prevent the zero point correction processing from being stopped at least due to combustion of the heating burner 31. |
