PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manganese-based alloy powder excellent in terms of molding compactness and capable of manufacturing a molding having advanced mechanical properties; and a manganese-based alloy molding having advanced mechanical properties and manufactured by using this manganese-based alloy powder.SOLUTION: The manganese-based alloy powder of the present invention is constituted by a manganese-based alloy including at least 0.2 mass% and no more than 5 mass% of calcium. The average particle diameter thereof is 100 μm or above and 1500 m or below. The average aspect ratio of the particles is 0.5 or above and 1 or below. The apparent density thereof is 0.2 g/cmor above and 1.2 g/cmor below. The average hardness irregularity parameter value thereof ascertained by dividing the difference of maximal and minimal values of micro Vickers hardnesses measured at 10 sites on a particle cross section by the maximal value is 0.3 or below. Moreover, it is desirable for the manganese-based alloy powder of the present invention to have been manufactured based on a high-speed rotary water stream atomizing method using the powder manufacturing apparatus 100 shown in Figure 1. |
