PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict equipment cost while restricting oxidation of cell stack during stop of power generation.SOLUTION: A fuel cell module M comprises: a pressure container 10; a cell stack 101 arranged in the pressure container, having a cell configured to generate power by the reaction of oxidant gas containing oxygen with hydrogen, and containing a catalyst having the reforming function to produce hydrogen from hydro carbon and water vapor; a fuel gas supply pipe 310 configured to supply fuel gas containing hydro carbon to the cell stack; a thermal insulation material 16 arranged inside the pressure container and outside the cell stack; and a vaporizer 40 arranged in the thermal insulation material and configured to produce water vapor from liquid water by means of heat radiated from the cell stack, and to feed the water vapor to the fuel gas supply pipe 310.
