PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature capable of materializing sufficient corrosion resistance with a simple configuration when an aluminum coil is used for reducing cost and weight and to provide a DC motor.SOLUTION: An armature 3 includes: an aluminum coil 2 on an external surface of which an insulating coat is formed; and a commutator 4 in a circumferential direction of which a plurality of aluminum commutator segments 40 connected to the coil 2 are disposed, wherein the commutator segments 40 are connected to portions of the coil 2 where the insulating coat is removed. |
