An intermediate wall (40) for sealing a rear space of a compressor wheel (71) of a radial-flow compressor in relation with a bearing space surrounded by a bearing housing (30) includes a fixed flange (41) formed in rotational symmetry to surround, and the fixed flange is provided to fix the intermediate wall to the neighboring bearing housing and has a flat contact surface to be put on a contact surface of the bearing housing. In this instance, the fixed flange has a plurality of bores (42, 43) formed inwardly in a virtual circle, and the bores are at least one of sealed air channels (42) and a plurality of bores (43) arranged and distributed on the virtual circle in the circumferential direction to accommodate fixing means (50) therein. The intermediate wall according to the present invention has a rotational symmetric disc, and the disc may be manufactured into a final form through lathe turning without additional milling work. The intermediate wall according to the present invention needs just one drill for a sealed air passing part, and the drill can be used to form the bores for receiving the fixing means. Therefore, the intermediate wall can be manufactured through more simple manufacturing processes. |
