The present invention relates to a steering shaft assembly capable of absorbing sufficient impact by dividing a steering shaft, and by connecting a gap between the steering shaft with a buffering member of a corrugated pipe structure so as to be able to absorb the impact while bending the steering shaft when a vehicle has a head-on collision. According to the present invention, the steering shaft assembly having a shock absorption function is configured to comprise an upper steering shaft having one end connected to a handle; a lower steering shaft which is disposed on the lower side of the upper steering shaft to be spaced from the upper steering shaft by a predetermined distance; and the buffering member of a bellows form which is provided with an upper end part to be connected to the lower portion of the upper steering shaft and a lower end part to be connected to the upper portion of the lower steering shaft, and which connects the upper steering shaft and the lower steering shaft.
