The present invention relates to a compressed air drying method and apparatus, which removes moisture contained in compressed air by using a dehumidifier, and, specifically, to a compressed air drying method and apparatus capable of reducing the energy required to produce compressed air. The compressed air drying method according to the present invention comprises a dehumidification step of drying wet compressed air to dried compressed air by making the wet compressed air pass through one of two tanks filled with a dehumidifier; a heating step of heating the exterior air by using a blower and a heater and making the heated exterior air pass through the other tank filled with a dehumidifier so as to heat and regenerate the dehumidifier while performing the dehumidification step; and a cooling step of making dried compressed air, which is discharged from the tank performing the dehumidification step after completing the heating step, pass through the tank after completing the heating step to cool the tank and the heated compressed air with a cooler, combining the cooled compressed air with the dried compressed air discharged from the dehumidification step, and discharging the combined compressed air to a target apparatus. |
