A polishing tool with a file is to stably move a long file at a right angle to the longitudinal direction of the file. In the polishing tool, a fixating unit in a file attaching fixture maintains the base side of the file through position determination that the longitudinal direction of the file can be at a right angle to the reciprocating motion of an operating unit inside a tool main body. A file supporting member with a roller at the fore-end thereof makes the roller be in contact with a position which is separated from the file attaching fixture on a principal plane opposite to a principal plane with a file blade part of the file attached to the file attaching fixture. The contact is maintained even during the reciprocating motion of the file according to the reciprocating motion of the operating unit inside the tool main body, in order to control vibration at a right angle to the reciprocating motion of the file. |
