<p>The method involves positioning a protection element (5) e.g. steel strip, against a surface of a cultivation tool e.g. plough body, on which tungsten carbide elements (41), are fixed. The element (5) is disposed, parallel to a cutting edge (11) of the tool against the tungsten carbide elements, in an edge of the tool. The steel strip is treated so as to provide wear resistance to the tool. An independent claim is also included for a protection element implementing a method for improving wear resistance of a tool.</p> |
