PURPOSE: A seat for a vehicle is provided to maximally reduce injuries in a rear-end collision by enabling a seat back to maximally absorb shock applied to the seat. CONSTITUTION: A seat for a vehicle comprises a base bracket(5), a plate holder(12), a connection link, and a balance spring(16). The base bracket is fixed to the side surface of a seat cushion frame. Guide grooves are formed in both end of the base bracket. One end of the plate holder is coupled to the base bracket through a movable guide shaft, and the other end is rotatably coupled to an extra bracket. One end of the connection link is coupled to the base bracket through an upper link pin, and the other end is coupled to the plate holder through a lower link pin. The balance spring allows the plate holder to be rearward rotated to the base bracket and restricts the rear movement of the plate holder. |
