摘要 According to an embodiment of the present invention, an engine with a continuous variable transmission for continuously varying a gear ratio between a driving pulley and a driven pulley comprises line pressure paths supplied with line pressure of transmission oil; first and second pressure control valves respectively connected to the line pressure paths; direct and indirect variable solenoid valves supplied with hydraulic pressure through the first and second pressure control valves; a first operation unit operated by the hydraulic pressure supplied by the direct variable solenoid valve; a second operation unit controlling the gear ratio between the driving and driven pulleys with the first operation unit by being supplied with the hydraulic pressure through the pressure control valve operated by the hydraulic pressure supplied from the indirect variable solenoid vale; and a check valve limiting the hydraulic pressure discharged through discharge paths of the first and second pressure control valves. The pressure relieved in the first and second pressure control valves is reduced by the check valve so engine RPM increases and fuel consumption is reduced as well as maintaining stable line pressure.
