Disclosed are a cloud-based virtual bidding system and a method for providing a virtual bidding service. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the virtual bidding system includes: a user terminal which performs bidding to an electronic bidding system; and a virtual bidding place which virtualizes an application program. The system enables a user to enter the virtual bidding place through Internet and to perform bidding, thereby protecting bidding information which is important in an electronic bidding process and guaranteeing a safe transaction.
