Disclosed are a method of detecting a cavitation and an ultrasonic medical apparatus for the method. The present invention relates to a method of detecting a cavitation, which comprises: condensing an imaging ultrasonic wave and a high intensity ultrasonic wave to a target object (a diseased area of a patient); and processing a reflection signal according to the condensation, and when it is identified that a cavitation is generated, detecting a location where the cavitation is generated through data processing of the reflection signal, and an ultrasonic medical apparatus for the method.
