The present invention relates to a mobile-type organic light emitting diode display device capable of measuring a pixel current and a method for measuring a pixel current therein, which can measure a current of each pixel at a high speed in a simple structure so as to compensate for a brightness deviation between pixels in a mobile-type active matrix organic light emitting diode display device. The mobile-type organic light emitting diode display device comprises a display panel, a driving integrated circuit, and a mode control switching unit. The display panel includes a plurality of sub pixels to display an image. The driving integrated circuit drives data lines of the display panel through a plurality of output channels connected to the display panel, sequentially drives first and second gate lines of the display panel, measures a current of each sub pixel at a high speed, and outputs a voltage corresponding to the measured current. The mode control switching unit converts an electrical connection structure of the data lines and reference lines of the display panel with respect to each image display mode or pixel current measurement mode under the control of the driving integrated circuit. |
