The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating osteoarthritis, wherein the pharmaceutical composition for treating osteoarthritis has a certain compounding ratio of piroxicam or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and hyaluronic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof which exhibit a synergistic action on anti-inflammation and anti-pain at the same time. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating osteoarthritis characterized by comprising 0.25-10.0 wt% of piroxicam or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and 0.5-5.0 wt% of hyarulonic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein, piroxicam or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a hyarulonic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are included in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. The liquid pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention has excellent effects on treatment of inflammation and pain at the same time, and thus it is possible to provide a liquid injection agent showing synergistic effect on treatment of osteoarthritis.
