<p>The device (1) comprises a vessel (3) for containing a liquid electrolyte bath (2) and a support (4) dissolving metallic elements (5) in the bath, where the support is arranged relative to the vessel for selectively immerse the elements in the bath and comprises a unit for measuring a force dependent on the mass of the metallic elements carried by the support. The device further comprises a motor for moving the support relative to the vessel between a position in which the metallic elements are immersed in the bath and a position in where the metallic elements are removed from the bath. The device (1) comprises a vessel (3) for containing a liquid electrolyte bath (2) and a support (4) dissolving metallic elements (5) in the bath, where the support is arranged relative to the vessel for selectively immerse the elements in the bath and comprises a unit for measuring a force dependent on the mass of the metallic elements carried by the support. The device further comprises: a motor for moving the support relative to the vessel between a position in which the metallic elements are immersed in the bath and a position in where the metallic elements are removed from the bath; an actuator control unit connected to the force measuring unit to control movement of the support relative to the vessel according the force measured by the measuring unit. The support comprises: a first portion with bearings resting against fixed positions from the vessel, where the fixed positions are be portions of the vessel; and a second portion movable relative to the first portion for supporting the metallic elements to dissolve in the bath. The force measuring unit comprises a load cell placed between the first and second portions of the support to prevent separation of the portions relative to each other. The unit measures the force based in the mass of the metallic elements carried by the support. The second portion of the support comprises a basket in which a raised portion of the metallic elements is dissolved, where the basket is perforated to allow contacting of the metallic elements with the bath. The basket comprises a metal whose standard potential is higher than a standard potential of the metallic elements. The control unit compares the measured force using the force measuring unit to a predetermined threshold value, and controls an actuator for moving the support when the measured force passes the threshold value so as to leave the metallic elements of the bath. The control unit comprises a man/machine interface for adjusting the parameters for movement of the support relative to the vessel based on the force. An independent claim is included for a method for using the assistance device for regulation of a liquid electrolyte bath.</p> |
