PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that achieves both low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage stability even in a high-speed machine, provides high image quality even after a long-term storage, exhibits good releasability and hot offset resistance, and prevents the occurrence of in-apparatus contamination.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner containing at least a binder resin, a mold release agent, and a colorant. The binder resin contains a crystalline polyester resin and an amorphous polyester resin; and the crystalline polyester resin has a melting point Tmp of 55 to 80°C. When an endothermic peak temperature derived from the crystalline polyester resin in the toner in DSC measurement of the toner is Tm1, and a melt viscosity at 100°C of the mold release agent is &eegr;(w), the following formulas (1) and (2) are satisfied. (1): 5°C≤Tmp-Tm1≤15°C; and (2): 2mPa s≤&eegr;(w)≤20 mPa s. |
