PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of reducing the thickness of a cylinder of a cam cylinder frame having an inner periphery and a cam groove on the inner periphery while ensuring drop strength.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 900 includes: a rotary frame 230; a lens group frame 120; and a shutter frame 270. The first rotary frame includes a first cam groove 231 on the inner periphery thereof and a second cam groove 232 on the outer periphery thereof, which crosses the first cam groove 231 as viewed from the radial direction. A first cam follower 271 of the first lens group frame engages with the first cam groove, and the second cam follower 121 of the shutter frame 270 engages the second cam groove. The dimension in a diameter direction of the first rotary frame is smaller than a sum of the depth of the first and the second cam groove. The first rotary frame includes, from the inner periphery side to a thickness direction, a region W1 having the first cam groove only; a region W0 having a first cam and a second cam; and a region W2 having the second cam groove only. The position of the first cam follower and the second cam follower differ in a peripheral direction. At least one of the first cam follower and the second cam follower includes a non-contact portion 279 which does not come into contact with a wall of the corresponding cam groove in the region W0. |
