<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the performance of collecting a substance deposited on a body to be cleaned, while reducing driving torque of the cleaned body which is rotated by drive power.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 100 comprises: a first collection unit 110 having a first brush roll 112 to be charged in a positive polarity; and a second collection unit 120 having a second brush roll 122 to be charged in a negative polarity. In the cleaning device 100, the first and second collection units 110, 120 collect a deposited substance T with electrostatic force, thereby reducing driving torque of a photoreceptor 22. In the cleaning device 100, the first brush roll 112 collects a negatively charged substance TM, and the second brush roll 122 collects a positively charged substance TP, thereby ensuring higher performance of collecting the substance T as compared with a case where only one of the above substances is collected.</p> |
