<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling guide system, traveling guide method and computer program that make it possible to appropriately detect a target object even in a situation in which it is difficult to recognize an image such as a situation in which it is raining or it is dark.SOLUTION: When a guide intersection is present ahead in the advancing direction of a vehicle, the surrounding of the guide intersection included in a guide route is picked up by a front camera 19 mounted in the vehicle. Using the picked up image and a reference pattern specified for each target object, the concordance rate of the image of the target object included in the picked up image and image recognition information is calculated. If the calculated concordance rate is lower than a threshold value, the concordance rate is corrected based on the surrounding environment of the vehicle. If the calculated concordance rate or the corrected concordance rate is not lower than the threshold, the guide intersection is guided using the target object.</p> |
