PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone fixing device in which a shaft part and a head part are formed as individual components.SOLUTION: A bone fixing device is provided including: a shaft part 2 that should be fixed to a bone or a spinal column; a head part 3; and a reception part 4 for receiving the head part 3 to connect the shaft part 2 to a rod. The shaft part 2 and the head part 3 are individual components. The head part 3 includes: a bore 31 having a cylindrical inner surface; a ring-shaped groove 34 provided on the inner surface; and at least one slit 35 extending from an inner surface to an external surface 30 of the head part 3. The shaft part 2 includes: a first portion 21 fixed to the bone or the spinal column; and a second portion 23 having a cylindrical external surface and adjacent to a free end 27. A protrusion 7 is provided on the cylindrical external surface, and when the cylindrical second portion 23 of the shaft part 2 is inserted into the bore 31 of the head part 3, the protrusion 7 engages the ring-shaped groove 34 of the head part 3. |
