<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus and an instruction member for a recording apparatus which allow easy and quick setting etc. by means of an instruction member for various setting and processing.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises a card slot 15 to which a setting card 14 corresponding to usage of the printer is mounted. A CPU of a printer controller performs printing condition setting, printing processing based on the printing condition setting, or maintenance processing, according to the type of the setting card mounted to the card slot.</p> |
