<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet characteristic maintenance device which preferably scrapes a liquid adhering to a wiper member for wiping a liquid jet head by using a contact member, and to provide a liquid jet device.SOLUTION: A liquid jet characteristic maintenance device includes: a wiper 40 which wipes a liquid jet head and in which a longitudinal direction is set to a direction perpendicular to a wiping direction; a wiper cleaner 60 which moves relative to the wiper along a longitudinal direction and contacts with the wiper causing deformation of the wiper when moving relative to the wiper; and a deformation restriction member 65 for restricting the deformation of the wiper which is caused as the wiper cleaner contacts thereto.</p> |
