<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of test patterns to be formed for color correction.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes image forming means for forming test patterns of one or more colors on a sheet, measurement means for measuring the colors of the test patterns formed on the sheet, and control means for performing color correction control on the basis of a result obtained by measuring the test patterns. The control means determines a first value on the basis of a difference between a measurement value of the test pattern formed and a reference value of the test pattern, to determine the timing of forming the test pattern next on the basis of the first value.</p> |
