<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an increase in coupling loss of an optical connector where parallel light is emitted from one ferrule to the other ferrule when water etc., enters a space between both the ferrules.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical connector device 1 which includes an emission-side ferrule 2 and an incidence-side ferrule 3 arranged opposite each other, and optically connects a light emission member 2f fixed to the emission-side ferrule 2 and a light incidence member 3f fixed to the incidence-side ferrule 3 to each other. The emission-side ferrule 2 has a collimator lens 211 which collimates light emitted from the light emission part 2f, and a flat light emission surface 222 which is orthogonal to the optical axis of the emission of the parallel light, and the incidence-side ferrule 3 has a flat light incidence surface 322 which is orthogonal to the optical axis of incidence of the parallel light emitted from the light emission surface 222, and a condenser lens 321 which converges the incident parallel light on the light incidence member 3f.</p> |
